Two Russian pharmaceutical factories in Moscow and St. Petersburg purchased three types of pharmaceutical testing equipment from "Zhengzhong Pharmaceutical Machinery". Two teams, one in each city, successfully completed the commissioning of the exported products in March and August this year. This article shares their experiences and observations from their overseas trips. (II) St. Petersburg Business Trip - R&D Department (Qiu Zhiyong) Our company has been launching new products continuously this year, showing strong development momentum. Among them, the vial lyophilized powder injection inspection machine was successfully exported to a pharmaceutical company in St. Petersburg, Russia. On August 13, I, along with Department Head Zhang from the R&D department, Xiao Xiao (a fitter), and a translator, were dispatched by the company to Russia for commissioning and acceptance. We departed from Changsha Huanghua Airport in the morning, transferring in Urumqi, and after more than ten hours of flight, arrived in St. Petersburg, Russia at 7 PM local time. St. Petersburg is the second-largest city in Russia, located on the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea, and is a world-renowned historical city. The next morning, we immediately started the equipment commissioning work at the factory. We followed the procedures to inspect the equipment's appearance, check the accessories, adjust the machine position, and connect the power supply, compressed air, and computer program. The equipment's empty car test run was successful. However, when we conducted the drug detection test, we found that the pass rate was very low. After inspection, there was no problem with the equipment software. After comparing the images, we found that their drug powder cakes were broken, and the bottle walls were covered with powder. Upon further investigation, we learned that their bottle collection method was different from that in China, and their process standards differed. At the commissioning site, we found the root cause of the problem. Instead of simply attributing the detection results to the drugs themselves, we sought ways to solve the real problems of Russian users. Department Head Zhang decided to modify the image algorithm. We immediately collected relevant images, and after several days of modification and debugging, the equipment's detection performance finally met the requirements of the pharmaceutical factory. In two weeks, the Russian pharmaceutical factory conducted strict verification of the equipment's design, installation, performance, and operation. Our equipment successfully passed the acceptance test. In the following days, we provided practical training to the Russian employees of the pharmaceutical factory. They highly praised and recognized our service attitude, technical expertise, and equipment performance accuracy. During our busy work in St. Petersburg, we had the opportunity to visit the Winter Palace and the Summer Palace, and we also tasted Russian vodka and wheat beer. Every day, listening to Russian songs played in the car while being picked up and dropped off by our driver, we felt the warmth and hospitality of the Russian people and their love for singing and dancing. Before we had a chance to fully appreciate this beautiful city, we embarked on our journey home. We hope that "Zhengzhong"'s equipment will go global, bringing more health and peace to the world; and we sincerely hope that the footsteps of "Zhengzhong people" will go further and further.
